We support leaders, teams, and organizations as they design a culture that cultivates belonging and inclusivity--allowing for a more authentic, joyful, & trusting environment. We prioritize people and places who are trying to better serve those who come from marginalized backgrounds, knowing that when we design for those most overlooked-- everyone wins.
Culturally Responsive design
Learning & coaching is most transformative when it's relevant & rooted in context. This means that all sessions, coaching, & strategy are designed for a client's unique context. We maintain the integrity of the work while delivering in ways that engage a variety of leaders & learners.
About Tierionna

Tierionna, founder & Chief Consultant of AuthenticatED Consulting, coaches leaders, supports strategy development, and facilitates world-class learning experiences-- for districts, organizations, and institutions that are pursuing a more just world.
Tierionna was born, raised, and schooled in Kentucky, but now resides on the South side of Chicago. She is a mother, wife, and educator with a longtime commitment to freedom. Her work is most often centered in leadership and DEIAR (diversity, equity, inclusion & antiracism).
She is known for her truth telling, leadership development, and for designing world-class learning experiences. These sessions are most often described as "relevant & engaging" and "challenging, yet emotionally safe."
Tierionna earned her B.S in Adolescent English Education from Miami University of Ohio and her MEd in Curriculum Studies from DePaul University. She is also the co-founder of the organization Love You Like a Sister at Miami University of Ohio, an organization designed to support, develop, and retain women of color at a PWI. She is a 2011 Chicago Corps member, a 2016 Stanford Hollyhock Fellow, 2019 Reality Revolve & a 2022 Chicago Surge Fellow.

Assets & Affirmation
American society has taught many to view BIPOC through a deficit lens. At AuthenticatED Consulting, we acknowledge, see, and honor the various assets and strengths in people, even more so in those who have been historically marginalized. We affirm those assets as valid, powerful, and valuable in every room.
Truth-Telling
We believe in the power of truth-telling. Facing our histories, upbringings, biases, and ourselves... is the path to a more just world.
Leadership Development
We believe that leadership is not determined by one's position, rather by one's level of influence. You have a responsibility to lead well by continuously developing in culturally relevant and responsive practices and learning to most effectively serve those you lead. We see leadership as a key lever to delivering on a commitment to DEIAR
